Monday Mettā
A new + beautiful way to experience Mondays.
I am just right. Everything is just right as it is. May I and all beings feel at home.
Aspirational, true, or somewhere in between, it doesn’t actually matter. Take a few deep breaths and look around you, taking in what you see and how you feel, but not paying much attention to those feelings at all. It’s your internal home that needs paying attention to.
As you speak these words out loud or silently, remember to wish this feeling of home and ease and just right on others. May I and all beings feel at home.
So glad you’re here.

My New Year’s Day Retreat is Happening Again!
Let’s honor 2021 and 2022 together.
✨
In a month, time turns and we mark the beginning of a New Year.
Last year, I held a lovely event on New Year’s Day for any and all to relax, renew, and reflect. This year, I’m repeating the Retreat, with both new and old classes and workshop options for you and possible guest presenters. Payment will also look a little different this time around, so be sure to read on.
The Retreat will be held on Saturday, January 1, and asks nothing of you except for an internet connection and comfy clothes. The schedule is varied, with something for everyone, and is designed to help you float your way into 2022. You can stay updated with the schedule here: https://themobiyogi.com/retreats , as it is subject to tweaks.
Marking time, even if time is a construct, can be an important ritual. Although I am not one for traditional New Year’s resolutions, I am one for Last Year’s reflections and Next Year’s dreams. Let the yoga, meditation, writing, and community connect you to your past, present, and future self. And, if anything, it’s a nice way to spend a Saturday.
If you are interested in coming, please RSVP, and if you have any questions at all, please respond to this newsletter or send me an email.
All essential workers and teachers are invited to pay $18 for the full day. If you want a box mailed to you, contact me directly!
Payment can be sent via Venmo @raybay18, PayPal @raybay18, or check to PO Box 1778, Lenox, MA 01240.

Your Tarot Reading, Revealed!
Card 1: Citrine // Six of Cups Sometimes, the best way to get a sense of your own abundance is to donate or gift some of it away. In many religions, giving alms is a spiritual pillar. Even those who don’t have much are encouraged to give time. And those who don’t have much time can be encouraged to give financially! By giving out what you feel you need, you will get it back in exactly the ways you need it. I donate, monthly, to SeaLegacy, and this card encourages you to donate to an organization or person that means something to you, emotionally (emotions are the basis of Cups). Comment or reply to this newsletter to let me know of an organization or human that you love giving to! I will compile a list.
Card 2: Tiger’s Eye // Page of Swords Are you starting something new? You may be on the verge of a new project and you are EXCITED. That’s good, great, even! Those ten birds at the top of the card reiterate that you are on the brink of a change. This card is a reminder that, while your head may be in the clouds (a great place to be for a birds-eye view of your new idea), you must remember to keep feet firmly planted. As Swords represent communication, write out your grand manifestation, but then get down to the nitty gritty. Create a schedule, hold yourself accountable, and connect with others.
Card 3: Picture Jasper // Six of Swords Your creativity is taking you places, but you aren’t quite content. On the one hand, your mind is churning (see the choppy water?) and on the other hand, you are looking for smooth sailing. The creative process is never smooth sailing, and you must be content with that fact. As you move forward in your work (and I don’t mean career here, I mean your creations), you might have to let some things go. Don’t be afraid to eliminate the things that are weighing you down.
