Monday Mettā
A new + beautiful way to experience Mondays.
May I experience joy and delight. May all beings be joyful.
In this time between the winter solstice and the new year, welcome a moment or two of joy and delight. Maybe even more than a moment.
You might sit with your hand on your heart, and simply repeat: May I experience joy and delight. May all beings be joyful. Or take a moment on a walk to stop and look around. Joy and delight. Perhaps you have a morning coffee ritual, or you’re snuggling on the couch with a book or about to watch Netflix. Pause. Joy and delight.
May I experience joy and delight. May all beings be joyful.
So glad you’re here.

Your Tarot Reading, Revealed!
Card 1: Rose Quartz // The Devil Deep breaths. Ok, at first glance this can seem frightening… this is a card loaded with imagery and meaning. In the Rider-Waite-Smith deck, the image is of two lovers chained to the Devil’s throne. Their hands are free, however, as is their ability to unlock their chains at any time. In this deck, the figures are portrayed almost like embryos. Still chained, these images offer you a reckoning. How are you guarding your heart? What are you leaving unsaid and undone, what are you allowing that keeps you small? Continue to evolve in your awareness of yourself and use light to help you see in the dark. Your chains are easily removed… but only by you.
Card 2: Amethyst // Queen of Wands Um hi. Step into your power, why don’t you. Because you have a lot of it: power and creativity and confidence in abundance. Keep that stance in mind as you take a look at what is stressing you out. This card is clearly telling you to believe in yourself, your abilities, and your courage. If exhaustion and anxiety are getting you down, close your eyes and imagine yourself in a place of pure manifestation. Set the scene: remember at time when you felt at your most energetic and determined. Embody those feelings, and walk yourself through the actions you took to get there. Then, imagine something you’ve been dreaming of or wishing for, while continuing to embody those powerful feelings and actions. Imagine getting what you want as you feel your best. Then, take action. Sometimes, the best respite from stress is to do.
Card 3: Citrine // Three of Wands What a great suit and card to get. Wands is the suit of creativity and energy. Whatever you are thinking about trying, or beginning, I’d say go for it. BUT- make sure you are in sync before you start. Is this next project, or idea, or new beginning in harmony with your body, mind, and spirit? (It’s the three of wands, don’t forget.) Is what you have planned thought through with integrity? Move forward from a position of balance, alignment, honor, and strength. Also, think about joining with others. You don’t have to go at this new project or experience alone. Talk about it with friends, plan with co-workers, or run it by your partner. And, when it is all feeling aligned, you’ll know it!
