Monday Mettā

A new + beautiful way to experience Mondays.

May I be open and receptive today.

Short and sweet this Monday.

Just consider it. Open to listen. Open to relaxing. Open to your own sense of being. Open to joy. Open to fun. And taking it all in without judgement or conditions. That’s receptivity.

✨

So glad you’re here.

Your Tarot Reading, Revealed!

Card 1: Selenite // The Sun

Hi! You may need balance, but in order to reach it, you need to overload on JOY!! That’s right— finding your sweet spot, your equanimity, your contentment means going a little bit overboard with the things you love, first. That will balance out the stuff that’s making you feel anxious, overwhelmed, or sad. And, this is a great card for balance! Notice the card itself is basically symmetrical (the flowers, the butterfly, even the sun). And the yin/yang symbol in the middle is a reminder that you have two equal pieces to you. Even them out by moving towards joy and love.

Card 2: Gold Pyrite // Five of Swords

Ok, the Five of Swords is a fairly assertive card, representing “growth through conflict,” which is a great message for working on asserting yourself. Not all conflict is bad. Sometimes a heated conversation or an opinionated debate reminds us that our voices matter, and can actually lead to changed behavior. Often, when the conflict is over, the reflection period is an incubator for moving forward in a healthy way. I’m not suggesting pick fights with everyone you encounter, but I am reminding you that there are lessons and healing to be found in conflict.

Card 3: Carnelian // The Fool

This is the perfect card for your wonderings, reminding you to get unstuck from your worries and doubts. The Fool is the fearless card in the deck. It’s popped up today to tell you that not all fears are founded, that sometimes even your worst fear can be handled, that you will survive it. The Fool travels forth, following the path, eager for the journey, ready for the transformation. At his very core, The Fool is fully himself: he doesn’t care what others think or what the unspoken rules of society tell him to do. Follow his lead this week and choose to do what feels right to you, not what you think you should do.
